Hey Girls - I am getting married in 2 days!!!!! Ahhhhhhhhh....I am freaking out.
In the meantime, can someone tell me if my tipping sounds right? Am I over/undertipping anyone?? I just need a sanity check on this. Thanks!!
Hair - $50 (she is doing 4 of us) - total is $300 Makeup - $55 (she is doing 4 of us) - total is 320 Officiant - $125 DJ - $100 Photographer - $100 Video - $100 Banquet Mgr - $250 (we are having 110 people - banquet manager has been AWFUL so far) Captain - $125
What do you think??

Why are you tipping the officiant? They already get all of the money that you're paying them.

My officiant is actually not from the parish where we are getting married - he is actually a family friend who is coming to this church to marry us. I am not looking to shell out more $$ if I don't have to, but I felt it was appropriate to try to cover his expenses....

In my opinion, I would not tip the DJ and the photographer the same. The photographer is with you all day, the DJ isn't. The DJ could be $50? Are you just having one DJ? No MC?

I am having a DJ & MC - was planning to tip a total of $100 and I guess they would split it??

If the BM has been awful, I wouldnt feel obligated to tip.
