So, when I went to see the florist for the final appointment they told me that I should give 6% to the delivery and set up ppl tip. That would be almost $300. I heard of tipping the delivery ppl but, not the set up ppl and I didn't expect to be tipping them that much. I mean ppl were saying to just get them a pizza.

all you should do is tip the delivery people maybe like 10-20 tops! the set up should have been part of the price of your flowers and so you should not be expected to tip them!
That is insane!!! We only plan to tip the delivery guy $15ish.

By that time.. what will they do?? They can't come to your wedding a take your flowers back!
Look at your contract... is their any mention of a set-up fee? They should have approached the situation by saying 'You will need to pay $XX for setup'.. but it shouldn't be considered the deliv guy's tip.

haha, I guess you are right! It just seems insane since I am paying almost $5000 for the flowers. I mean isnt part of that going to the workers that isnt my problem.
