I have no idea who I'm supposed to tip.... I have no maître d but I have waitstaff... 2 photographers who own the company 5 piece band
Does anyone know if i tip these vendors and how much?
I also have a tent company coming to set up...do they get tipped??

Tipping for a backyard wedding....
As someone who has served/bartended at backyard weddings a tip is definitely appreciated! Working at any sort of wedding is a lot of work and your servers would be extremely grateful for a tip.
Personally, I would also tip the band, I am planning on tiping our DJ so I would assume you tip the band.
I think it would be a nice gesture to tip the people who set up the tents (or maybe ask if the same ppl are coming to take them down and do it then). Its probably not expected but Im sure they would be grateful even if it was a small amount

I agree. I would definitely tip waitstaff. I work for hostesses with the mostess and I am grateful for any tip- even 20.00 makes all the difference. Tent people maybe 10.00 each. Band I wouldn't do... And photographers- I'm not sure. They are already pretty expensive.
