I am going for a Makeup trial today. Do I have to tip on top of the consultation fee? She works out of her house

Re: Tipping for Makeup Trial
I tipped makeup $20 and hair $15. The makeup girl was my FSIL though. I liked what they did and how they treated me. I also want them to treat me as good the day of the wedding. Just more $$ to shell out though right Will it ever end.
Dont forget to post pics when you get back

Re: Tipping for Makeup Trial
I went on 3 makeup trials & tried to tip them all about $10 bucks--1 of them took my tip & the other 2 said NO that the trial fee was enough--some people are so nice!

I gave a $20 tip to mine. She traveled 75 miles to come to me to do the trial and only charged me $20.

Im going to her house after work today (guess I will have to pick up a camera since I left mine home)
Ok...I'll offer the tip and see if she takes it. I just dont understand that if these people work out of the house and they're doing a trial to see if I like their work AND they're charging me to do it, why I should have to tip them ON top of the fee! Maybe I'm just stressing out

When planning a wedding, you really learn how much the whole tipping thing gets out of control!
