Tipping ? For trials ?

Tipping ? For trials ?

I'm learning so much about tipping through LIW !!!

I was wondering if you tipped for your Hair/Makeup trial if the individual owns their own company?

Also, what should I expect makeup/hair trials to cost?

Thank You!

Hi- My hair trial was $75 and in her home and I loved her so I tipped $15 since she spent so much time talking with me and doing different styles and stuff. My make-up trial was with Oksana and it was $50 I think so I tipped $10. HTH-

I think you should tip as if you were going to a normal salon. I'd tip 15-20%.

I did tip for the trail and she was the sole owner of her business out of her home. I went to her home for the trial. The more I think about it, its really not necessary to tip if they work out of their home not in a salon. All the money goes to them and everything is in cash so I am sure they don't claim all or most of it. JMO

I was thinking that it wasn't really necessary to tip the vendors that own their own business (the band, flowers, coordinator, hair/makeup) but I'm still unsure.

Help ???
