It seems like $25 is reasonable for the mail person...not sure about garbage men--you could probably do the same for each of them.

I left the garbage men $40 buks in a card today. Not sure how many men do it... but that should suffice because I am giving the guy that picks up my recycling tomorrow another $20.

I ran down the street chasing the truck..I missed them but will have to get them on Monay if they are picking up. If not, DH will do it Tuesday. I wouldn't tape it to the garbage cans.

my husband ended up doing the same thing... he heard the truck and had to jump out of the shower, throw on clothes and chase the truck down the street.

i taped it to the top of the lid... neither FH or I are home when they come... we have no other choice...

we put it on a trash can and left it outside with a note on the can - present inside LOL
