Tipping Hair & Make Up Vendor

Hi ladies,

How much did you or will you tip your hairstylist and make up artist on the day of the wedding? Both my vendors work on their own or are not affiliated with a salon. Am I required to tip them the 20%?

Any input is greatly appreciated!

Everyone always says a tip is a tip regardless if the person owns their own business.

I was going to tip $20, which is where I feel comfortable.

Edit... The girl doing my hair for my wedding also owns her own business. It comes out to just under a 20% tip.
