Tipping help!!

How does one tip each vendor? I'm stumped!!

A few days before our wedding, DH and I sat down with the list of our vendors and a lot of cash. We decided how much to give everyone and put the $ into marked envelopes. Dh carried it with him the day of and gave the envelopes out when appropriate.

Exactly this except my DOC gave out the tips.

This! But we gave the envelopes to my brother to handle. Just a recommendation, keep the maitre de envelope unsealed in case there are things the day of u are unhappy with :)
