I have a question: When you go shopping for your wedding gown is it customary to tip the salesperson who helps you. Are you suppposed to tip if you buy or don't buy. See, I never thought of that and i didn't tip the girl that helped me when i bought my dress at Kleinfeld's. She was awesome and now i feel bad. What does everyone else do?

I never even thought of doing that. I don't think that its customary. They get a nice commission from your purchase.

Re: Tipping in Bridal Salons
I never heard of tipping the salesperson. I did however tip the seamstress at my last fitting the other day---that way she'll hopefully take good care of pressing it before I pick it up. Not to mention, there was a bit of a problem, but she fixed it nicely.
