Do you tip the housekeeping staff in hotels? If so, how much? [BTW, this is a very pertinent question for me right now, as I'm about to check out of a hotel - gotta love free internet access! ]

I usually just tip the housekeeper, unless there was someone else in particular that went out of his/her way for us.

i agree i usually give a nice tip to the housekeeping staff and if someone goes out of there way to be extra helpful i will give them a tip as well

We always leave a couple dollars per day for the housekeeper.
