tipping in Mexico

Anyone gone to Mexico? Can you tip with American dollars or do you have to convert to pesos or whatever? Say for tipping waiters, maid service etc? Thanks.

We went to Mexico last year and even though your not expected to tip in and all inclusive we did. I think we actually over tipped. But make sure you bring alot of singles, they do accept american money. Its actually worth more than theirs. So at breakfast we would leave them like 1 or 2 $$
