Ok so I don't think the whole $3 per person to tip the Maitre D is bad but I have 3 Maitre D's at our wedding so I have to tip them each that much?? And the 2 bridal attendants too? I mean that gets a bit crazy!!

We made one envelope.... only ONE of the MD's is with you the whole night the other two are in CH.
We figured we'd give it to him... and if he wanted to split it he could

most places recommend $3-5pp. I gave my MD $3.50pp he wasn't anything special, but he wasn't terrible either. if he was terrible, he was getting $100

My hall told us $2 pp for the MD and $1 for the BA .. does that seem really low?

It still works out to be the same $3 pp its just allocated differently. I dont think its low at all. If that what the expect and you give extra thats a bonus for them... IMO

We were told $4-$5 for the MD and $150 for the BA.

This should be included in the gratuity...The BA does as much work. I don't mind tipping but i wish the venue can just include it.
