I tipped my Maitre D he was amazing. As for my banquet manager...she was not with us the night of our wedding because her daughters best friend was getting married and she was invited. She felt so bad that she couldn't be there, she called us to say congrats the day before, and called us the day of the wedding to make sure we needed anything else. She was so wonderful through the whole planning process so after the wedding DH and I ordered a basket and sent it to her.

Re: Tipping... Please Help, I have a question...
Depending on how the night goes, we are tipping our Maitre D' $4 or $5pp and the Bridal attendants $50 each (2 of them). We are not tipping our Banquet Manager (actually our BM is no longer with the catering hall). We are probably going to give a little gift to the person we are dealing with right now (maybe a bottle of wine, a box of cigars, or something). We do not have a DOC so I can't help you with that.

I did not tip the banquet manager. I only tipped the maitre'd and bridal attendant.

I only tipped the maitre'd. I never saw our banquet manager the day of the wedding.
As for how much, I increased the tip for both the maitre'd and my DOC the day of the wedding. Originally, I think I had put aside $3 p/p for the maitre'd and increase it to $4, and for our DOC - well she was just sooooooo amazing, I increased her tip, and then DH pulled out an additional $$$$$ and gave it to her (and if he had more in his pocket at that moment he would have given it to her). Our DOC was by far the single best investment in our wedding day!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
