I am going to have my hairl girl come to my house the day of and someone come to the house to do makeup. Since they set the price and it is cash in there pocket and they are not paying out for overhead or rental charge, I was always under the impression that you did no also give them a tip. As you all know, they charge quite a markup to come to you. Am I wrong?
i think a little something is the right way to go-- or maybe giving them a wedding favor as well as a little something--for helping you make your day perfect--
my daughter just got married in Nov. We had a hair and makeup girl come to the house. I tipped each girl $20 for me and $20 each for my daughter.
I don't know who I am having to do my hair but since Maria d'Leon for example is about $1000+ what would you tip them? 20% is $200 which seems RIDICULOUS to me when the price is already so outrageous??
