tipping seamstress?

tipping seamstress?

I am going to pick up my dress tomorrow from Kleinfeld, am I supposed to tip the seamstress? or give her a gift? I will send her a thank you after the wedding

i didn't tip at all - bridal reflections in carle place

ill prob just send her a thank you card

I tipped mine $50, BUT it was a private seamstress, not from a store, and for extensive work she had only charged me $150.

I imagine you are paying enough at Kleinfelds that a tip is not necessary.

It is not necessary, but if you feel the seamstress did a really good job and worked on your dress a lot then I would tip. It is a nice gesture and they really appreciate it, remeber they just make a salary...the store gets the payment.
