Tipping the band
I am having an eight piece orchestra (including the band leader). What is the customary tip? I really have no idea. I appreciate your input.

We had ten pieces. We asked our bandleader who told us to make one envelope tip for the entire band that was about 5% of the total bill for the band - he divided it up. I would ask your bandleader.
