Tipping The Band

Ok, I think I have the whole tipping thing down except for the Band. Any idea what is the % and or the way we should tip the band?
We have an 8 member band.
Also, (ok so I do not have it mastered) do we tip the wait staff as well as the MaitreD?

The tip for the wait staff is included in the bill (mine is 20%). We are tipping our band $50 a person...

We only did $25 a person b/c we were tapped out - I wish I could have given 50.

I was going to give the band 10% of the total price of them playing that night. As it turns out that is more then $50 per member.
