Re: Tipping the bridal attendant?
Your banquet manager can give you a guideline, it ranges anywhere from $75 to $200.
Mine was the best, she was my shadow the whole time we were at the RH and even dressed me as I came in. I gave her a very nice amount because I really appreciated her help that day.

I would agree with Susie, as long as she does a good job, avg would be $100

Re: Tipping the bridal attendant?
wow, i wish you guys were MY brides!!
I worked as a bridal attendant for 5 years at Raphael winery. my tips usually ranged about $50-150 (after people thanking me and hugging me that I did wonderful and helped them so much.... lol) The most I ever got was $200. Depending on how good they do, i'd say at least $100. (but if they are very good and attentive, more is always VERY appreciated!)

Are you confusing the maitre'd with the bridal attendant ? The bridal attendant is your shadow for the event. She will help you with whatever you need, even going to tinkle. She will make sure you have food, drink, will make sure your dress is bustled correctly, and your veil on tight.

2 to 5 per person. Again, it all depends upon their service and is at your discretion. I can't rave enough about our Maitre'D. Everything was orchestrated perfectly, from ceremony to the end of the reception.
Make basic envelopes, label them for each appropriate person, and do not seal them. Trust them to your dad or the best man to hold until you are ready to hand them out. If you feel that someone has done an outstanding job, go ahead and add some cash to the envelope.

Re: Tipping the bridal attendant?
where i got married there guidelines were insane.....if we gave what they said it was like $1500 for the maitr'de and $900 for the bridal attendant....needless to say we did not give them that!!!!!
Honestly..my ex's mother was a bridal attendant in Nassau county and she normally got between $50-150. I would not figure it out per guest becuase she is just there to take care of the bride...the maitre'd gets a pp deal.

Re: Tipping the bridal attendant?
My reception hall recommended only $50 for the bridal attendant.
My hall recommended $150 and up for the bridal attendant. We originally put $150 in an envelope for her, but she was amazing, so before she left I added an additional $75.

Re: Tipping the bridal attendant?
I think some posters are getting confused with Bridal Attendant VS. Maitre D
Your maitre d is 3-5 pp (that is the guideline) Bridal Attendant 50+ whatever you think its worth.
We only gave the attendants $50 each b/c they didnt do much at all really. The MD I have no idea since my ILs paid this

Re: Tipping the bridal attendant?
$50-$150 seems to be range and also dependent upon how helpful you felt she was
I think i will use $75-$100 as base and go from there
