tipping the owner??

We are using 12th night and Dom is one of our photogs. do you tip the owner the same as an employee of the company? Thanks

In general, tipping etiquette dictates that business owners are not given tips.

We have the same issue with our DJ. He is the owner, we don't feel we have to tip him since he is the owner , but my dad said we have to. We will give him like $100 I think

all of my vendors were owners...and they did a great job so i tipped them...a tip is to say 'hey thanks! great job' i don't beleive in that theory of, if they own the business they don't deserve a tip...but that's just me....you could always give them less of a tip.

I have the same issue with my photographer, dj, and hair and makeup. I figure I will tip all.
