I don't think tipping the seamstress is necessary.
Does she run her own business? Part of another business?
Geez. I hadn't thought of all these things.

Re: Tipping the seamstress???
Good ?, I was going to ask the same thing! When I went for my fitting at the bridal store I noticed signs that said tipping was at your discretion. So ofcourse now I gotta tip since I saw that, so what is a good amount? HELP!!

Re: Tipping the seamstress???
I have no intention of tipping. I'm paying a madatory $400 for alterations, I think that's more than enough.

Re: Tipping the seamstress???
I am also paying an extra few hundred for alterations, but since she is not a private seamstress (she works for the bridal salon), I am definitely tipping her. I'll probably end up tipping her around 20 pecent of the alterations cost, but over a few fittings. My seamstress has been so wonderful. she's really important in this whole wedding thing.
