I saw a question about this, but I'm confused even from the beginning.
Who exactly do we tip, and what do you give them for a tip? I know with the limos we hired the grats are included, but what about the other vendors?
Do I tip the maitre d @ the club?
And do we give tips for each individual waiter/waitress/bartender to him to give out?
Photographer?
DJ?
TIA, I'm so lost on this, and trying to figure out how much MORE we'll be spending

You should ask your wedding coordinator about tipping the waiters and bartenders. They will tell you to definitely tip the Maitre D and bridal attendant. Mine told me $150 for the bridal attendant and $2-$4 per person for the Maitre D (we're giving him $500). But they told us to absolutely not tip the bartenders and waiters. There is a gratuity included in the price per person, plus many guests will tip the bartenders anyway. They said their staff is paid very well and do not rely on tips so it is unnecessary. Same with valet and they do not have a bathroom attendant for the sole reason of not having guests feel like they have to tip them. But I am still really torn on what to do about the photographers and band.

I wish someone would have told us to budget for tips because it adds up!After all the tips were added up we were in a little bit of shock! Here is a link to a helpful tipping guide one of the girls posted on here awhile back.
We tipped (tried to remember amounts): Photog:$100 (owner) Photo assit $50 Video $100 (owner) Video assist $50 DJ $200 (he was awesome) MC $125 or $150 Matri'd $500 bridal attendant $125 table captains (2 and my DOC thought it wasn't necessary to tip them as she had never heard of them) $125 each DOC $200 Officiant $50 My parents tried to tip the flourist when they delivered but they wouldn't take it (family friends) They gave a little something extra to both limo drivers although tips were included.

we tipped: photographer videographer maitre'd bridal attendant DJ (plus his assistant) LIMO (gratuity was incl. but we gave a little extra cause they were great!) flower delivery (Jen from verbena delivered herself so we gave her and the assts a tip) oh and string quartet too
i think thats it, but the end of the night i was so happy i was ready to tip everyone!!!!!!!!!
