Who is supposed to be tipped??

I heard you dont have to tip the
Photographer
Videographer
DJ
etc.......

Anyway I do NOT wanna look bad or cheap.....what is everyone doing?? Please advice

As far as I know you do tip these people. Do a search on tipping...there are lists on here.

I know for sure you dont tip the photographer. As for the rest, I'm not sure. If you can't find the answer here, try the Knot or Wedding Channel!

these are all the people you do tip from what i've heard....you also tip the maitre'd (although you can find out beforehand is this is included in your contract), you tip the florist (if they deliver...if you go pick them up, then no), basically, you can be expected to tip practically anyone involved in your wedding....on that note, only tip where appropriate, if you are unhappy with a service, dont tip....and don't think that you HAVE to tip, or even tip a certain amount....I heard a story once either here or on the knot where a bride tipped like 1-2 a head to the maitre'd and then got a call later that more had been expected and what was wrong with her wedding??? the truth is that had she tipped the recommended amt (an amt i think she heard AFTER,) it would've been almost 1000 as she had 300 people there and she just didn't see the point in paying someone THAT much for a tip....and neither did the rest of us. they should never ask for or demand a tip...because a tip is courtesy for a job well done.

some post say if the DJ or photographer OWN the company the do not need a tip ( I do not elive in that) but that is what some are saying
If they do A GREAT JOB!!! then they should get a tip regardless if they own the company
when you get your nails done if the owner does them do you NOT tip them NO!!
