What's the etiquette here on Long Island with tipping? I am getting married at the reception location and a pastor from my church is marrying me--for $450 aka 'a donation.' How much do I give to this man for the 1/2 hour ceremony? Also do we tip the videographer and the photographer? And what about the 9,000 other people I hired like the limo drivers, DJ, make up, hair, florist? I don't want to be cheap but then again, who the heck has all this extra money? Please help me. My wedding is a week 9 days awayyyy..

Re: Tips?
Oh, I forgot to mention this is an all-inclusive package but I did spend extra money at each vendor that was supposed to be included in my package.

Re: Tips?
honestly, I would give whatever you feel they deserve and whatever you can afford. I gave on average around $20-$30 per vendor. I really couldn't afford more than that.
My DJ's secretary, when she called to confirm everything, mentioned that the tip should be 15%. Well I had a big package with them, almost $3000, that would've been $450! Some people on here I feel go too crazy when it comes to tips...most of us are so broke by the time the wedding rolls around, just to hire the vendors in the first place.
Just my 2 cents...

I thought I was good tipper then I came here, I'm so scared my vendors are going to hunt me down and kill me for the 20's I plan to put in their envelopes.
