Although, I think I need to rephrase - I love having the breakdown, I HATE having to tip so much when everything already has a service fee added.
What about flower delivery, we probably have to tip that guy too.

Tipping themaitre 'd depends on teh amount of people atyour wedding. You should figure $3.00 per guest.
$3.00 x 150 guests = $450.00 tip Bridal Attendant 100.00 (at least) MC = 75.00/100.00 DJ = 50.00 Limo = 50.00 each. Photo = 50/100 each Video = 50/100 each.

yeah i was gonna post the same thing. The maitre'd is not one set amount, its a price per person. People tip anywhere from $2-6 per person. Not only that but most RH's they split it with the bm that you booked with. So that would mean if you give $300 about $150 is only for him

Its like we have to tip everyone!!! I figured just that day between the hair people, limo drivers, and everyone else... We will need like $1500 in envelopes. Its really crazy how we have to tip on top of the payment for services. I guess it is what it is!

My price per person for my hall is all inclusive. Meaning....it includes tax and gratuity...but I feel funny not tipping...do you think I should follow the same guidelines?? I don't want to appear to be totally rude...my price can't possibly include each bartender, etc.

I think all places are like that but you should still tip the maitre'd and the bridal attendant.
