Tips?

I'm totally clueless as to how much to tip all our vendors. Can you help? Does it go by percentages or a flat fee?

We need to tip:
-DJ
-Limo Driver
-Cocktail hour guitarist
-Floral delivery
-Photographer

All the other gratuities are built into our contracts.

Tipping Guideline

Hair Stylist and Makeup Artist - 15- 20% each
Ceremony Musicians- $30 - $50 per musician
Limousine Drivers - 20% of the total bill
Photographer/Videographers- $100 - $300 per vendor
DJ - $100 - $200
MC - $100 - $200
Maitre'd - $2 - $5 per person
Bridal Attendant - $100 - $200
Delivery and Setup staff - $5 - $10

I just hired my limo for pick up/drop off and was told that $20-$40 would be appropriate per driver (instead of a %age of the cost). I got married at my hall and totally forgot to prep an envelope for my officiant, so make sure you think about everyone you hired who will be there that day.

Thanks, ladies! Honestly I don't feel like I need to tip the priest lol. The fee or 'donation' for the church is out of control and he's kinda of been a jerk to us throughout the whole process.

I think clergy can't accept 'tips' anyway. Our pastor told us that the service is free but if we would like to give a donation they eill gladly accept it. We will be doing a general donation to the church and an additional donation to the pastor's discretionary fund as a thank you to him.

Oh yeah, absolutely. I used to be an altar girl when I was little and I tell ya, those $10 from a wedding made me feel amazing :) But then the church found out we were getting tips and made us donate them :(
