FH hates to tip so I am doing the envelopes. He asked what to tip the Maitre D since we have a DOC and an MC and presumably the Matire D will not do as much as normal
I have seen $3 - $5 pp and planned to do $4 pp. FH thinks that is too much

our hall suggested $3-5/pp.
We're most likely doing 3.
p.s. - I STILL haven't opened the box! I'll do it tomorrow

We tipped a little under $3 a person. We had 104 people and we tipped $300. Then a set amount for the bartenders (we asked them to put away the tip jar) and the bridal attendant.

Unless your DOC and your MC will keep the kitchen on time, I would tip normally.

Our place suggested $1-$3 pp. We'll probably end up giving him $300, which will be about $2 per person.

I agree, your DOC does not work for the hall and is (most likely) not going to have anything to do with the servers or the kitchen.
