tips for boarding

hellol. we have to board our 3 yr old pomeranian this wed-sat morning. (we are relocating to NC, so after her first 14 drive, she will be boarded at the vet there) shes never been boarded before...any tips? i guess we will bring her food and a toy or two?

i hope that she does OK near other dogs, she tend to bark at other dogs. she seems to do OK when she gets groomed, but 3 1/2 days is loooonger than a few hours amongst stranger dogs. dh's parents dog (whom she knows and loves) will be there with her thurssfat, so this might help. we will request that they are put near eachother. thanks~lacey edited for spelling

Re: tips for boarding

ive only boarded my dog once, but when i did, i sent him with his blanket and 2 toys. i also sent him with his own food since he's used to it and they used a different kind there. i also took him in to his vet to get a kennel cough vaccine, he was uptodate on everything else.
