Tips for the reception hall

okay please tell me how I can find out who gets tipped and how much

When I went to the hall today
I was told that the maitre'd gets $3-$5 per person
that is crazy

Did you try looking in an etiquette book? Or the knot?
I have heard about that much also, but I don't know if that is actually correct.
I haven't actually researched it yet.

yup! We're having our reception at the Inn at East wind, and we were told that it's $4 per guest for the MD! Good Luck!

I'm on the same thing tonight too. I was thinking about $500 for the maitre'd and $300 for the bridal attendant but really, if it's only #3-$5 per head, that's less then.

I'm curious what other people think or did.
