Re: Tips please...

I went to Kleinfeld's and bought my dress theree- it was a magical experience and I still get soooo happy and excited everytime I go!

My one piece of advice to you is to take your time and do not allow anyone to make you feel rushed with making a decision.
I felt a little rushed with picking out my veil- I bought my dress the first time I went wedding gown shopping along with the veil too!
So....I had them stop the order and I went back the next week to make sure it was the veil I wanted...DO NOT RUSH!

Enjoy yourself and best wishes to you!

Keep an open mind. I actually hated my dress on the hanger, but tried it on anyway and it wound up being the one!

Have fun!

I think she was mine too- not sure...if it's beautiful girl with long, curly hair then that's her.

It is very good that you know what designers and dress styles you like because the more of an idea you have...the more they can help you. It's one of the first questions they ask along with what your budget is.

Re: Tips please...

try on dresses that youve been looking at, also try dresses on that you normally ruled out, you never know!!

And if you have a budget tell the salesperson, the last thing you want is falling in love with a million dollar dress that you cant buy!

ITA- even if you think you know what you like, try something different on anyway- at least to compare styles!

Re: Tips please...

bring a strapless bra with you

also i agree with having an open mind. Try on different styles of dresses to see which flatters your body best. Sometimes what we like isnt what looks best on us ya know. But only advice is to not stress about it and just have fun and enjoy it.

I brought my dress at Kleinfelds and had an amazing experience, hope you do too and good luck
