So I am planning on using Tissue packets for the church that said 'For your tears of Joy'. FH said that he thought that was pretencious (sp?) sooooooo my first question is do you think these cry packets are a good idea? (I was going to slip them inside the programs) and instead of 'For Your Tears of Joy' I was going to do this instead:
If you shed a tear or two, Here's a tissue just for you. So wipe away that happy tear, We are thankful you are here!

Re: Tissue packets HELP!!
i personally hate the 'for your tears of joy' and think it is pretentious. my mom likes them, and we have been going back and forth w/ respect to whether we will do tissue packets.
your wording is a little cheesy but much better than the alternative IMO..

Re: Tissue packets HELP!!
i think they are super cute! my friend did them and they were beautiful. It was def a cute touch.
on a reality note - most likley the only people who will cry will be parents siblings grandparents and maybe a few other close people. you just have to think if YOU think they are worth making!

Re: Tissue packets HELP!!
Ok to be 100% honest, I made cry packs & they were such a pain in the a$$ and no one used them or noticed them. They were the one DIY I would have not done. I say skip them.
You can buy a few nice hankies for the people closest to you. I bought ours on personalizedpresents.com. I think they were like $15

Re: Tissue packets HELP!!
I like your wording. I think the idea of tissue / cry packs can be pretentious, HOWEVER I always cry at weddings and never have tissues ... so I am torn on the idea. I do not think I am doing them - I may buy a bunch of trial packs and have them at the entrance of the ceremony room ... not sure.
