Tissue Taffeta BM dresses in November?

There is always such great advice on LIW, so I figured I would post my question.

I would really appreciate your input - What do you think of tissue taffeta BM dresses in November? Is this fabric too thin for winter?

I wanted to pick satin dresses so my girls won't freeze, but they really like these 2 Bill Levkoff dresses in tissue taffeta (I liked them too, but thought the fabric was kind of light for fall/winter - my wedding is beginning of Nov).

Let me know what you think.

I'm using tissue taffeta, but September might be a bit warmer......my friend is also using tissue taffeta for her wedding on 10/20...and I don't think the fabric being too thin is a concern for her. I've tried on the tissue taffeta dresses, and personally I love how they feel!! they're very comfortable! Since you'll be in the first week of November, I don't think it would be too cold yet.

I think we will go with the tissue taffeta dresses and add a bolero jacket or shawl.

I'm doing Bill Levkoff in Tissue Taffeta on Dec 1st.

not sure what dresses you picked but they usually have the same dress in satin.

I'm using 557 (taffeta in oct) but 966 is the same dress in satin.

I agree. The past Novembers have been pretty warm also.

i love the tafetta its so light thats why i picked it for my BM dresses instead of satin.
