Where is the best place on LI to find a wideselection of titanium rings?? MY fiance and I are going out tonight and wanted to try some places locally... Thanks!

Almost all jewelers have them. We got FH ring in the Carribean but I have seen them at the flea market, at Zales, and at local jewelers too.

we got my FH's titanium ring at the Wedding Center in Commack. didn't like the place for other things like dresses or photography, but they had the biggest selection of titanium rings I saw. I got my ring somewhere else though because I wanted platinum and they didn't have anything like what I wanted there. Titanium is just a different kind of metal - very lightweight.

My FH was looking into titanium rings for a little while too, but they are impossible to get off! They cannot be cut through....God forbid they ever have to cut the ring off...you could lose a finger!
Also, they can't be re-sized, so if your FH's hands get bigger later on in life, he will be out of luck!
Just a little info!

I was just recently at Zales...they have all titanium jewelery...from rings to watches to bracelets. They are very heavy...great quality!

Actually, they can be cut off, but they can not be resized. If he needs a bigger size later on they will need to make a new ring.

DH has a titanium ring... he got it at litman jewlers in the mall... they had a few... he loves it! and hes gottan a bunch of compliments on it cause its different....

you can get them at fortunoff, really nice ones. But just to warn you we didn't buy them for this weird fact. God forbid it gets stuck on your finger or if your finger gets cought in something you CANNOT CUT THEM OFF. With that being said and the fact that I like my fingers were they are I didn't buy them. I work at fortunoff in the jewelry dept which is why I'm telling you. Beth

I'm not so sure about that. I think the other girls might be right. My husband is a fighter pilot and the AF advises against wearing rings while flying anyway (he still does) but specifically titanium b/c they cannot cut the metal in the event of injury or accident.
