My DH fell in love with a titanium wedding band. He was fitted for it, but you know how men are. To him the fitting seemed good. On the honeymoon he kept saying how big it was. So we figured we'd get it sized when we got back. WRONG!!!!
You can't resize a titanium ring!!!!!!! It is such a strong metal that it can't be done. So, here we are as newlyweds and he already had to order a new ring. I want it to fit him, but I'm upset that he'll be wearing a different ring than the one I put on him on our wedding day.

I've never heard of the balls of which you speak. But my DH didn't want foreign objects inside the ring to make it fit better.

When I was reading about them, they said to order them small beause they can shave away the inside to make it fit, but they can't make them smaller or else they would have to remake the ring. I would talk to the place you ordered from and see if there is anything they can do to remake the one he has. Sorry you have to deal with this

that stinks that they didn't tell you that!! my DH has a titanium ring and he loves it, but they told us when he was getting sized that he better be sure of the fit, because it can't be resized. LOL didn't matter anyway, because he lost it on the honeymoon! he was out on a small sailboar by himself while i was relaxing reading a book on the beach, and the sailboat flipped, and with the water and the sunscreen he had just put on, the ring slipped off! so, he had to get another ring when we came back.... i was upset, but at least hes ok- a lot worse could have happened!

titanium rings can be a problem anyway... we decided to steer clear of them, even though they are definitely really nice, because in the case of emergency (a finger injury , hand or ring gets caught in something, etc) they are VERY difficult to cut off.
Especially since my FH is a really active guy and he's always getting into SOMETHING, we decided to lean on the cautious side and get something a little easier to work with.
It's too bad though, because it's a beautiful metal!
