Who has it? Is it worth it? We are thinking of getting it for inlaws for Christmas. Any info would be great. TIA

Have it and love it! Worth every penny. Gave it to my parents who are technology-phobics and they love it too!

Just so you know i heard a lot of parents telling us you need to have it because it 'changes your life'.. Never could understand...now we have it...and we don't even have kids...and i think its the best invention ever!!!! I seriously could not imagine our lives without it going forward.
My sister-in-law says that when she needs to do dishes, laundrly, etc..she'll play wiggles, seaseme street, etc and her son will be enthralled wtih it..and without TiVo she would not have that option.

Re: TiVo
We had it when we had Direct TV. But unfortunately because of a tree we had to get rid of direct tv and tivo. We never realized how much we loved it. We were actually just talking about it before and DH really wants it back, so I gave him an option of tivo or a new stereo, and well, tivo it is. I am going to go get the 40 hour one at Best Buy for 199 and a 100 rebate!!
