does anyone have? I was thinking of getting it for my DH's b-day next week. What do you think about it? Is it worth it?
Love it!!!! My husband and I both work late hours and used to always miss our favorite shows. So now, we set the system up to record the series we watch and it is done; it tapes our shows every time its on. It's also nice to be able to rewind and pause televions shows.
I have one! I've wanted it for years, and finally got it in January. I can't believe I waited this long -- it totally changes the way you watch TV. Its soooo worth the money.
I love TIVO. If you don't want to pay the monthly fee you can pay a lifetime membership fee instead. I think it is $249? Not sure though. It's so much easier than a VCR and you can tape/TIVO sooooo many shows!
