TMI-Antibiotics and downtown infections

Okay I hate taking antibiotics because the following week I always wind up with a yeast infection, I had to start taking antibiotics today, is there anything I can do to prevent what is going to happen to me next week.

probably not, but cranberry juice is always good thing to have...keeps the 'system' nice and smooth

Happens to me all the time. Never did until my doctor once put me on Bioxin...now i get them all the time no matter what.

There is a vitamin you are suppose to take every day to stop them. I can't remember the name but i will go home and let you know tonight. It works!

i think eating yogurt helps too...i might have made that up though.

No, I think you're right - I've heard yogurt is good.

Yes, the L-acidophilus bacteria is great for those downtown happenings. It is also available in a supplement from healthfood stores, in case you do not like yogurt.

You can ask your doctor to prescribe a Diflucan pill for you - that's the prescrip pill that fights yeast infections

called gyno, I can pick up diflucan tonight, they always try and sell me on creams, really who wants that mess when you can take one pill and forget it

yogurt is absolutely right because it has acidophilus. I take acidophilus every day. if you're taking anti bios, take it up to 4 times a day!!!!!!! you can get it at cvs for about $15
