TMI- bleach and my bra!

Ok here is a bit toooo much information.. but i find it semi amusing to I am sharing.

I did laundry hast night and FH finished it up. I did think about the white wash I put in with BLEACH having my new white bra in it.. so i did the wash and dried it. Now I am already at work and have this bra on for almost 2 hours..

I have a headache and i am VERY itchy around my boobs and just figured out the slight padding in the bra must have suucked up the BLEACH and is now giving off the bleach odor as well as irratating my skin...

I have to wait till 10 when someone else gets in the office. I am sooo miserable right now.

maybe put some tissue btwn you and your bra to stop the irritation? I dont know what to say about the smell.

Oh no that sounds uncomfortable!! Hopefully someone gets there soon so you can go get a new bra!!

oh no kim! Are you close enough to a store where you can run out and buy a new one? FH's and laundry are never a good mix

Take it off...don't leave it on! It doesn't matter if your bra-less until you can go home and change or buy a new one....it could really irritate your skin by then.

When you go home, soak it in water for about 1 hour... use woolite and hand wash it..

I know its super annoying to have to wash bras by hand, but its really the only way they last..

Hopefully the smell will fade and the itch has gone away...

I will not use bleach again on this type of bra.
Looks like I can not leave work till my normal lunch hour. There is a meeting right away in a few minutes that the woman I work for is going into.

The paper towels really helped stopping most of the irratation. I am going to swap them out for new ones before she goes into the meeting.

I would go get a new one during your lunch hour to avoid further irritation - like the other girls said - wal mart/target - inexpensive then rewash your bra with no bleach.
