TMI: Question: Condom mishaps

Have you ever had condom mishap, such as it breaking, falling off, etc? Did you freak out?

If you can't tell, there's a reason i'm asking this.....

This happened once to a good friend of mine in college, and the next day she went to the health clinic and took some morning after pill type thing just to be sure she wouldn't be pregnant (she was in college, and the guy she was with was just a fling)

Oh, yeah! I forgot about the 72 hour pill... if youare VERY concerned you can go to Planned Parenthood or your Dr for this.

I know I shouldn;t be that concerned because it was before, umm..completion of the act, we notcied it right away and we were using spermicide. Stilll..I'm freaking

Yes it happened to a friend of mine, she was totally freaking b/c she was not serious with this guy which made her freak even more. They were having intercourse and the condom had slipped off him and went inside her. They didn't even know it until they were finished. Anyway she was so nervous she called her GYN and asked for the 24 hour pill (i think that is what it is called). Just in case anything happened.

I really don't think there is much to worry about if you caught it before completion

Thanks guys. I'm still freaking over that minute chance. The most insane thing is that I(ve ben so busy and all ove the place lately that I completely lost track of my cycle, so I don't even remember when AFis supposed to come. I think another week. I'll just wait and pray.

Honestly I have made myself lose sleep over this (and then make AF late because of stress!). I am sure it is fine if it wasn't completed. Don't worry!

Thanks! That's what I've done before..when i've had NO reason to worry at all, I've gotten worked up and then AF was late and I got more worked up. So I'm going to try to keep telling myself I'm not PG.
