TMI: Warning to those easily offended, do not read
I work 7 days a week and its really tough for me to look at dresses. I have friday off so I made appointments for friday and wednesday night. Im so excited but I just checked my calendar and Aunt Flo is coming tomorrow. I feel weird trying on WHITE dresses. I was thinking of asking my MOH to try the dresses on for me, but now Im thinking I should cancel all together. What should I do?

Well you offered TMI so I will go with it...Is your AF very heavy that you would feel weird? For me personally, mine is so light it wouldnt make a difference.

Yeah I was gunna ask the same thing..Definitly dont have your moh try them on.. every body is different and you have to get the 'Feeling' of the dress and see yourself in it. What if you wear really thick grandma panties will that make u feel better?
Another thing to consider if you get really bloated you might not like the way the dress looks on you.

My whole thing are the busy body salespeople who have to be all up in your business when trying on a dress. Do you think it will be weird if I wear a slipdress?

Three words--belt and suspenders.Take Tampax (heavy flow, and lots of it) AND pads.

No not at all. and if you bring your MOH tell them you feel more comfortable having just your moh help you. I did this in a few places and they understand.
My fmil wore one of those body slimmer suite things when she went to try on dresses.

I wore a slip everytime I went dress shopping, just in case a bout of shyness came on. No one ever said anything to me. If the Slipdress will make you feel comfortable enough to go shopping, then i'd say do that. If you add the Granny panties and as Deb refered to them, Belt and suspenders you'll be A-OK!I hope you have fun, and let us know how you do please!

I had mine when i went.. i wore a tampon, undies, and a pair of little boy shorts... and i was fine. Also, i just put the dresses on myself, and then had them zip the back... it wasnt bad at all.

If I don't find MY DRESS at David's...I will call you and find out where you are and meet you!!!
The one in Yonkers is the one I went to. But the girl kept calling me and harassing me so I am done with them over there! I never called the poor girl back!

That's too funny. I was going to there on Friday but I'm going on Saturday. My salesgirl, her name is Becca. And she's just the sweetest.

I don't think you have anything to worry about. Unless you don't feel well than you'll be fine. You could not get the feeling of how the dress will look on you if you have someone else try it on. I would reschedule if you are unsure, but you should have no problems!
