to all Mets fans....

well the season is over...i am in shock and i cant believe what happened.. i was expecting to go to the playoff game Wed.. but now need a refund.. i would have never thought this would happen
it was the worse collapse in history from being up 7 games 2 weeks ago

to all my LIW mets fans......here are some hugs for you

We are such big Mets fans, but this is just embarrassing!!!! Seriously, WTFFFFF happened to them? They really do just break the fans hearts.

I just sat staring at the tv in disbelief... DH had to get up and shut it off for me.

He's a yankee fan, so he's trying not to gloat... I think he's just as disappointed b/c he saw how sad I was...

I promised him I would watch the playoffs with him though...

It still hasn't sunk in...

its the truth they totally just had no heart, and let the phils jump all over them.. i had to deal with so much crap today at work, its stinks

OMG, what a heartbreak season, FH and I thought we would be coming home from our HM to a subway series! Now I have no interest in watching any playoff games, so I am secretly hoping that the yanks lose in the 1st round, so I don't have to be tortured watching them on my HM! I already told FH I will be in the Karaoke lounge if he insists on watching the games, cause now I have nothing to watch! What a rollercoaster of a weekend, down, up, fight, fight, down. I was at a street fair the other day and every bar we passed, I asked someone what the score was!

just remember in 2004 when the yanks made history against boston. that always makes me smile, losing the series after being 3-0.
so if anyone says anthing about history...just throw that in their face

Its very very upsetting--- I couldnt watch the news or listen to the radio last night at all...


They all played poorly last night - and knew it too..i feel so bad for them- but more than that - I feel bad for us!!!

I know..its very depressing. The only positive is now Mr. Met will now be able to come to my wedding!!! He wasn't going to be able to come if the Mets were in the post season.

Hubby wanted the Mets to win... we're very supportive of each other's teams... UNLESS they play each other...

I'm happy for the yankees b/c after I started dating DH, I started to watch them more & more to the point they are my 2nd favorite team...

I am sorry to all the Mets fans but I am VERY EXCITED!!!!! As some of you know I live in Illinois and I am a HUGE Cubs fan!!!!!! We clinched our division!!!! We will be playing our first playoff game on Wednesday!!!! Let's hope the curse is over!!!!!

OMG really??? how much did it cost for him to be there.. my FH and i kept joking that we should rent him..lol

FH and I are season ticket holders so we were at all 3 games this weekend!!!! I really still can't believe it. We didn't even talk to each other most of last night.



I work with a ton of Philly Fans and I feel like I can't get through today at work. It is so unbelieveable.

I thought it was a bad dream. Now that it hit me that it's reality - I can't cope with this until after next week.
