Ok girls, so as i stated before, FH and I will be going to disney for the 2nd half of our HM and i could not be more thrilled!!!
Now i have been to WDW at LEAST 30 times...we normally stay in the epcot area, specifically the boardwalk and i have also stayed at the beach club...I LOVE LOVE LOVE them both! (and i think i LOVE them so much bec i know them so well)
I am conflicted about where to go for the HM...should i stay with the boardwalk or beach club or try either the polynesian or the grand floridian....I love the epcot area I feel like it is so conveinant (travel wise than the magic kingdom area)...
If you girls could give me ANY feedback that would be great!!!! If you have any other suggestions that would be great too! I would like to stay away from the swan and dolphin (NOTHING wrong with them, just want a little more for the HM)

Wow great question!!! We used to go a ton when I was younger and we'd either stay at the the Grand Floridian or the Beach Club. I LOOOOOOVE the beach club's proximity to EPCOT but the Grand Floridian is just the best splurge ever! I think if we were going for our HM, I'd pick that. They just treat your so special and you're on the monorail line and the boat line. Soooo beautiful!
Whatever you decide will be wonderful! Have a great time and don't forget to get your 'Just Married' buttons on check-in!

i have nothing bad to say about any of the hotels..but we haved stayed every yr in the polynesian for almost 10 years,and we r going back for the hm..its such a beautiful hotel,so relaxing,so friendly and they have captain cooks there if u want a snack..monorail service and the best part ohana resturant is there..def one of the best places to eat in disney...i know i am biased but i vote for polynesian all the way

OMG...FH's parents took us to disney 2 years ago..I didn't think we were staying in anything like that...It was a surprise to all of us because we stayed in one of the other disney resorts can't remember exactly which one, but it wasn't worth the $. SO the next 2 nights we went to the GRAND FLORIDIAN!!!..let me tell you I felt like a princes!! haha I'm going to post some pics but all I can say is WOW! food & service was also amazing!!

we just went to ohana the first time this past summer....it was AMAZING!!!!!

I currently live in Orlando and have been to all the resort hotels on site tours for work....For your HM I would absolutely stay at the Grand Floridian. As everyone has said, all of them are all great...but I think the GF is definitely the most appropriate for a HM. It's gorgeous and convenient.

While Boardwalk is my ABSOLUTE favorite..... I would think if you've stayed there before then maybe the GF would be a nice honeymoon choice.... a room with a balcony overlooking the magic kingdom!!!!
It would be beautiful!!! I know that since it's a magic kingdom resort there tends to a lot of kids- but you're going to get that anywhere- and it has the most honeymoon feeling to me of all of them..... but let's be honest, Anywhere in Disney World is awesome!
I can't wait to take DH there!!!

YAY DISNEY GIRL!!!! We are going to Disney for the first 4 nights of our HM! I am pretty obsessed with Disney and FH loves it as well. We've never stayed at Beach or Yacht Club, but have dined there and are very familiar with them. They are both awesome. It is nice also being in the EPCOT area. We are staying at the Polynesian Concierge level for our honeymoon. We wanted the all out deluxe experience. I LOVE MK and have never stayed at a monorail resort and am super psyched for that. We've done Wilderness Lodge before and loved that. For the honeymoon I would do the Polynesian!!! It's SO romantic!!! Try to do the club level, it's really worth the splurge! Although Gina (Gina409) has been upgraded the last few times to Concierge free of charge because they were overbooked, so hey, you never know!!

I own a disney timeshare so I go there at least twice a year. My usual spots are the Boardwalk or Yacht & Beach also because I love being able to walk over to Epcot.
However, last year FH and I stayed at the Grand Floridian for a couple of nights and it was super-romantic. I would say if you're going to splurge, go for it.
