How long before your wedding day are you getting your last and final full head of highlights?

I had asked my hairdresser and she said 2 weeks so I am getting it done exactly 2 weeks before

Wow I never thought of this....I was thinking the week of just because I really want to make them last. Not only do I have my wedding but my best friends wedding a month after mine and I want to make them last. Is there a reason you should wait a week or 2?

I am planning to get mine done about one month before. It will be the end of the summer and they will probabbly look their best. ( I should consult with my girl to make sure on this one!) !!!
