fh and i are going to the outlets and wine tasting tomorrow. we NEED to go to a beach afterwards. we just got back from Robert Moses (the clothed beach this time lol) and the waters were like the carribean!! beautiful blueee.
are there any PUBLIC beaches near the vineyards/tanger?
(we usually go to greenport but theres family dramma on fh's side so we cant go to our usual spot)

You can go to Smith's Point. It's all the way at the end of William Floyd Parkway going south.

I have no idea about beaches near Riverhead but I just wanted to say FH and I were at Robert Moses today too! (the clothing side as well).

No we're talking about Robert Moses which is more east in comparison to Jones Beach.
As far as a fee, Robert Moses is $8. I think Jones is the same but I haven't been to Jones Beach in years so im not 100% sure.

cupsogue beach is in westhampton if u take the hampton bays exit of sunrise (63) south all the way follow the beach signs then u go over a bridge,make a right take it all the way down...

Cupsogue is about 30 min from tanger and so is smith point. Cupsogue is the best beach there is. They have a bar there and theres usually a band playing on the weekends. If u really want to go there I can give u the best directions from tanger...

You can go to the new Tanger outlets in Deer Park...then you won't be that far from Robert Moses....much furtther west than Riverhead

Southold has a nice public beach, I don't know the name, not even sure if it has one. But its on the North Road, you can't miss it, its on the left side if your heading towards Greenport.
