To all the Fall brides out there...

I'm getting married on 9/21 and want to wait until September to shop for honeymoon clothes (going to Bora Bora) but I'm worried no one will have summer clothes out at that time. Is anyone else waiting to shop for clothes?? Where should I go for summer/beachy things in early September??!!

Tracy...Im going to Italy so I wanted to buy some capris and other stuff. Stupid me forgot all about it this summer and now I can't find anything thats not fall stuff. Even went to Woodbury Commons.

Im sure someplace must still have summer stuff. If you find anything - please let me know.

PS: Bora Bora sounds amazing!

I am doing the same thing, I am not sure where to go either. The Outlets are a great idea (I know the Tanger Outlet has a bathing suit store) I am afraid the 'mall stores' won't have anything left. Maybe shop online!!??

Not sure where you live but there are stores that sell 'Cruise Wear' which is basically summery clothes year-round.

Check out some boutiques in your area that advertise something like that.

There's one in Northport called 'The Inlet'. It's all summer clothes.

We are going to Bora Bora as well. we also decided to go to Moorea and Tahiti!! I can't wait. We are going in November and I would like to wait to get clothes as well. So far shopping online or out of catalogs seems like the only option. Let me know if you find anything. Oh and be sure to post when you get back. I want all the details on Bora Bora...from restaurants to things to do!!

I am getting married this Oct (64 days ) I have been to Macys 4 times already! I bought baithing suits for $15-30!!!! And these are designer suits from $70 and up! I also got nice shirts and pants from $4-15! The are having great sales. Department stores when they have there sales are sometimes even cheaper than the outlets! But you have to keep checking back because different things go on sale. If you live near commack, the macys on Jerico have AWESOME sales!!!!

I am going to have to ask Matt to keep me honest so honey if you are reading is this right? In Tahiti we are staying at the Sofitel Maeva Beach, In Moorea we are staying at Fare Vai Moana and in Bora Bora we are staying at The Top Dive Resort (which I hear has an amazing restaurant-you may want to check it out).

What about you guys?

We're staying at Le Meridien in Tahiti, The Pearl Beach Resort in Bora Bora and the Sheraton on Moorea. I hear Top Dive is great, we'll definitely go there. I hear all the restaurants pick you up and bring you to dinner and bring you back to your hotel - isn't that cool, because no one rents a car. Also, I hear to be sure and bring water shoes, bug spray, and lots of sunblock because it's so expensive down there. Yay - I'll be sure and give you a report when I'm back!

I thought I'd wait til August to get clothes on sale but I was a month too late! Some stores still have clearance sections, but I have no patience looking through racks of clothes all out of order and on the floor! LOL

I was able to buy a few things at Macy's, but the rest I'll probably order online - Jcrew has a lot of bathing suits, and they should be on sale now.

Everytime I buy something new I justify it to myself as it is for the honeymoon.

Some stores still have stuff but for the most part all the fall stuff is out.

I went to Bloomingdales last night and INC had a lot of summer stuff on sale. I bought a couple pairs of capris and a couple tees and a tank for about $100. Not bad...I thought.

I bought my bathing suits in Macy's a couple weeks after the 4th. I try to do that every year. Thats' when they all go on sale but they still have you size left (if you are lucky).

What about online...yesterday I got the jcrew summer clearance catalog?
