to all the mommy-to-be 'worry club members'

I know we are all so worried about making it to the 12th week, and I think I'm driving my husband crazy with stats, they say that 20% of pregnancies end in the 'M' word, but look at it the other way- 80% of pregnancies end in the delivery of a beautiful baby! Doesn't that make you feel better?! Hope everyone is feeling well!!!

The 20% scares the jeepers out of me though . I drive my DH crazy running to the bathroom every so often to check for blood. I can't wait for the first trimester to be over (but I've heard you never stop worrying). I haven't gone for my first apt yet (1/17) maybe after that I'll feel a LITTLE better

I think it's true that you never stop worrying... maybe not so much about the 'M' word, but just about the baby in general. I thought I would feel very relieved after entering my 2nd trimester but I'm 14 wks and I definitely still worry about delivering a healthy baby. I don't think I'll stop worrying until the day I deliver!

And then after the day you deliver you'll have a whole new set of worries -- SIDs, germs, falls, kidnappers... yada yada yada. You know what I think? You get pregnant, and you've signed up for a lifetime of worries. Ever notice that your parents still expect you to call to let them know that you got home ok if you take a long drive? hehe

I am 7 weeks and I can not wait till I am over the 3 month hump. I have been driving my DH crazy. He has been great at trying to calm me down and help me relax but lately all I have been seeing and hearing about are people 'm'. That scares me. Good luck to all of you.

let me just add that even after you deliver a healthy baby you still worry...just about new stuff. I worry everyday about Molly's safety and health. So the worry starts with that + test and never ends.
