Re: To all the teacherssssss.....
Well congrats you made it!! I didnt plan for the week this past week because school just started so I would be up till 12-1am planning for each night because I wouldnt get home from grad school until 9-930pm or so..
Gooduck with everything!! I am sure you will be great! Reading and ELA are so much better (IMO) than math and science, etc.. I gotta teach all the subjects (elementary) and ugh it can get frustrating.

Thanks and congrats to you too!!!
The first full week absolutely KILLED me! 26 kindergarteners is tiring...especially when the kids get declassed from their services upon entering kindg. without a diagnosis. Tell me why its ok for a child from a special ed pre-school tht rweceived speech, OT, aaand PT should be placed in a gen ed class with 25 other kids and just me...it's not right. And it's not just one kid...it's 4. I don't even feel bad for me, I feel bad for the kids that need those services and won't get them!

I'm elementary and I get there at 7:45 and don't leave til at leeeeast 4:00 every day. I HATE when ppl say teachers only work 9-3 and only for 10 months.
ETA: I wishhh I was done with my assessments! We just started another new reading program (it's like the 3rd one in 4 years). We now have 7 assessments to do within the first 6 weeks of school. Yeaaa, ooookk!
