to any and all the disney lovers!!! please help!!!
Ok girls, so as i stated before, FH and I will be going to disney for the 2nd half of our HM and i could not be more thrilled!!!
Now i have been to WDW at LEAST 30 times...we normally stay in the epcot area, specifically the boardwalk and i have also stayed at the beach club...I LOVE LOVE LOVE them both! (and i think i LOVE them so much bec i know them so well)
I am conflicted about where to go for the HM...should i stay with the boardwalk or beach club or try either the polynesian or the grand floridian....I love the epcot area I feel like it is so conveinant (travel wise than the magic kingdom area)...
If you girls could give me ANY feedback that would be great!!!! If you have any other suggestions that would be great too! I would like to stay away from the swan and dolphin (NOTHING wrong with them, just want a little more for the HM)
Thanks so much!!! (yes i know i have a lot of time, just gathering thoughts!!)

I absolutely love the Boardwalk!!! Not only can you go to the parks, but walking on the boardwalk can be a whole adventure in itself. I'm sure you know it since you have been there. I love that you can literally walk to Epcot. Also, they have tons of restaurants, shops, and dance clubs on the boardwalk which could be so much fun. Have you ever eaten at Spoodles? OMG it is a MUST anytime I go to Disney!! DELICIOUS!

Ohhhh I am a Disney expert, too!! Just got back on Tuesday from being in Disney for ten days and had such an amazing time. I have stayed at the Grand Floridian 16 times and FH and I are staying there for our HM. It is an absolute dream. The service is impeccable, the rooms are great, the grounds and buildings themselves are exquisite, the restaurants are fabulous, I could go on and on. And although Victoria & Albert's is pricey, you absolutely HAVE to have dinner there on your HM. Each person receives a personalized menu with his/her name on it, and each lady receives a rose upon leaving. It is a seven course meal (with an optional wine pairing) and the food is world-class, as is the service. It is located on the 2nd floor of the GF but even if you don't stay here, you must go to dinner there. Their other restaurants are wonderful, too (Narcoossee's and Citrico's). Personally, I think the travel accommodations at the MK resorts are the best, and here's why. To go to the MK, you can either take the little launch/ferry boat across (takes you to GF, Polynesian and MK in a loop), or the monorail. To get to Epcot, you take the monorail. Then of course for the other parks, you take the bus. Or, go to MGM for the day (now called Disney's Hollywood Studios) and walk to Epcot or take the boat. But I'm sure you knew that already. The GF is the most romantic resort on Disney property and I think you would regret not staying there for your HM. They treat you like royalty. Don't get me wrong - I've been to the Boardwalk and Polynesian just for fun, not to stay, and they're great. But the GF is THE spot to have your HM in Disney. Yes, it is pricey, but your HM is your HM. Let me know if you want any pics of the GF, although I'm sure you've passed by or been to it since you've been to Disney so many times. We should definitely exchange ideas for things to do on our HMs in Disney. I have lots of stuff planned!!

I have always love the polynesian ever since I was alittle girl. It has the tropical feel and it has an awesome view from the beachs of the Magic Kingdom...you are a boat ride away from the magic or just hop on the monorail (LOVE IT).
But if you are going to miss being walking distance from Epcot or all the night life and entertainment at the Broadwalk then I would just stay there.
We are going for our HM as well... We cant wait!!!

I've never been to either the Grand Floridian or Polynesian, but I've heard AWESOME things about both.

how long do you plan on staying at WDW? if its only a few days, why not try something different and stay at animal kingdom? a few friends of mine went and said you can see the giraffes at your windows. that would be pretty cool and different.

FH and I are going to Disney for a part of our honeymoon. we are going to stay at the Grand Floridian. We figured it was our HM, so we were going to splurge on that hotel.

all those hotels are great.. i love the beach and yacht clubs.. because you can walk to the park..
i stayed at the grand floridian when i was 9.. so i dont remember the details too much except it was very elegant and victorian style.
anywhere you stay you'll love it, ITS DISNEY!!! lol
