we are eating our cocktail hr in our bridal suite we spaced out our chuch and reception perfectly we have 3 hours for pictures so we wont miss cocktail hour

I'm without a doubt going to mine. CH is always my favorite part of weddings, plus I'm hoping to do a lot of my hello's there. I want to dance the night away!

We might get to half of it- but we will be doing pictures for most of it. FH and FMIL aren't happy- but I am not seeing FH before the wedding- I don't need any extra bad JuJu on our day!

As much as I'd love to go, I think I want to take that time to get a breather. It's going to be nonstop fun and this might be my chance to sit and relax. My cocktail hour is 1.5 hours so maybe I will go for a little bit. I want to see the whole setup and my string trio and whatnot, but I won't be mingling for very long. I'm also so nervous about people walking around with food around my dress, haha!

ETA: We did have to leave about 20 minutes before it ended to go check out the reception room and take some photos before guests arrived. Also, CH is a great chance to get some of the chatting with guests out of the way.

my big entrance is going to be when I walk out during the ceremony! I don't think we need another one to be honest. After the ceremony, FH and I will probably hang out for like 10 mins by ourselves in the bridal suite then join the guests at cocktail hour!
I want to mingle and say hi to everyone then so that I can just have fun for the rest of reception \
eta: they will be announcing us before dinner

I am doing this in lieu of a receiving line, so I can chat and have a snack at the same time!
They can still introduce us later

we will most definitely be at the CH. We are trying to get all or majority of the pictures done before the start of CH so that we can enjoy it with our guests. We also want to use that time to walk around and greet everyone so we won't have to do it at the actual reception while people are eating and dancing.

I will probably miss most of it for pics. My ceremony is at 730pm, and Im not seeing FH beforehand, so were gnna need that time for pics. Honestly, doesnt bother me too much if I miss it. Plus I would like my grand entrance

I want to stay in my bridal suite for it. They bring all the food in there and plus the bridal suite is huge and has it's own balcony overlooking the water. I figure it will be a good time to sit down and relax before the night begins.
