To bubble or not to bubble

To bubble or not to bubble

Girls that have used bubbles or have been in a wedding where bubbles were blown-do they stain satin?? I have heard they do and others say they don't. Its my only option as far as things being 'thrown'-so its bubbles or nothing (don't have time to pre-assemble ribbon wands, plus they are more $). Not sure what to do. I definately don't want my girls' or my dress stained, but I also am not completely happy having nothing tossed. Any advice?

I've been to plenty of weddings where bubbles were used and i've never witnessed or heard of any stains . . . so i think it's safe, unless maybe you dump the whole bottle of bubbles on yourself, then you might have a problem!

i was going to do bubbles...but my DOC said they are messy and people's hands get sticky from them...which is true..we had them at my bro's wedding..

Sooo..i am doing petals to be thrown...i like how it looks in pictures...and the petal cones were easy to make...plus i only made like 30 of them...DOC said that it makes no sense to have people that aren't near you try and throw them at you...so it made sense to only make a few for the people near the aisle :)

We're using bridal bubbles that I bought from AC Moore. our church prefers that we don't throw anything as well. I've never heard of them staining unless you got a significant amount on yourself. I think you should be fine.

Bubbles are very messy and they make your hands feel so gross. We aren't allowed to 'throw' anything at my church, so we aren't doing anything.

I am doing bubbles, I have been to several weddings with them and never heard any copmplaints from the bridal party or other guests. I think they are fine to use and look pretty cool in pics!

We did bubbles for my sister's wedding and no problems to report...no stains, no messy hands- it looked beautiful!

You can kind of see them in this picture from her album

We did bubbles - MIL found the stainless kind (not sure where). No problems with them at all!
