Well, if you're early then i'm WAYYYY early. I have everything done on both your lists except Favors, HM (getting quotes) and Tuxes. So far I have 2 girls out of 7 that have put money down for their BM dress order.

Thanks that made me feel much better! I think my sil just likes to have an opinion, between her and my own sister they are driving me nuts..
its nice to get validation from you girls
oh and besides, CaMacho, you've been engaged much longer than me. I just hit 3 months .. ..

Lots of people say I'm doing everything too early too. I've already had two make-up trials! But I don't think so, there's nothing wrong with being prepared. It's got to be the worst if you are close to the date and still searching for vendors. So far I have: The venue the DJ / entertainment the church & priest the photographer the videographer

Hey Faith-- we're at the same level :) I'm looking for my gown too. I agree I think getting the big stuff out of the way allows for you to spend more time on detail later and hopefully we won't be as stressed!

Church Hall Photo Video Florist Band/DJ Makeup Favors (will be done by the koumbaro)
I still need:
My Dress (hopefully really soon) Limos BM dresses Honeymoon (working on that soon too) Invitations Hair ...then I can start on details like placecards and flowergirl baskets etc.

I called LA Blossoms and they told me my wedding date is already booked! Its a competitive world out there.

church hall hired DOC band photographer videographer limos-done tonight my gown bridesmaid gowns chosen and deposit down stds bought and sent bridesmaid gifts started blocked hotel rooms night of hotel room Pre cana - set for Sept 17th started florist appts- hate this! unity candle guest book cake knife and server toasting flutes
need: florist tuxes invites favors honeymoon-started getting quotes parent gifts finish bridal party gifts some DIY projects out of town baskets/bags whatever it is so much more...uhhh

Earlier is never bad. That being said, I'm way behind where I feel I should be . . . we just weren't sure of the date until about 3 weeks ago when we booked the hall. So far:
--Booked the hall, ceremony will be there too --Um, that's it.
Oh, asked BM's to be in the wedding party.
I've done a lot of legwork on other stuff, met with one florist (a maybe) and one DJ (didn't click) and have appts with photogs/DJ's/another florist over next 2 weeks. Have an appt with officiant (the one we think we'll use) first week of Sept.
AM I WAY BEHIND WHERE I SHOULD BE???? Already, one DJ I wanted to interview was booked for my date.

I have done: Church Registered for Pre-cana Reception hall Room booked for wedding night photographer videographer dj florist makeup ordered my dress picked out bm dresses std bought votives for placecards toasting flutes cake server picked hm site started registry
To DO: order shoes/veil/accessories limos (going on Sat. to some places) order invites (in the process) book hm (hopefully this weekend!) block hotel rooms order favors (we already know what they are) tuxes maybe hire a doc? maybe hire live music for dinner
